As all of our friends know by now that we moved from Perth to Wallaroo in May 2007.
Now many may ask where is Wallaroo and why move there.
Well Wallaroo is a small seaside town situated on the western coast of the York Peninsular some 150km north of Adelaide.
In the past the town was part of a large copper mining area known as the Copper Triangle enveloping three centres, Wallaroo, Moonta and the inland town of Kadina. Kadina is the larger of the three and is the main shopping and business town.
These days the copper has gone and the main industry is wheat export, tourism and more recently a popular retirement location. Fishing is the main attraction.
The why is not hard to explain. Just come and stay here a while and you may never want to leave.
